  • Aleksandr Vladimirovich Obmanov is an actor. His passion for the arts began during his school years, and in 2012, he graduated from the director's department at VGIIK (Volgograd State Institute of Art and Culture) under the expert guidance of his mentor, E.L. Basilashvili. After receiving his diploma, Aleksandr continued to further his skills at the School of Drama under the tutelage of Herman Sidakov, successfully completing his training in 2018.

    As a theatrical actor, Aleksandr Obmanov is primarily associated with avant-garde projects. He has collaborated with the youth independent intellectual theater Re/Actor in Saint Petersburg, featuring in productions such as "Where Souls Burn" (as Vatslov Leshchinsky) and "I Want to Kiss You" (as Sergio Garanti).

    His journey in the world of cinema began in 2014 when he appeared in various TV series in mainly episodic roles.

    His first significant on-screen role came in 2021 when he portrayed the central character Kirill in Diana Ringo's drama "Quarantine." The film also starred Merited Artist of Russia Anatoly Bely.

    In 2023, Aleksandr Obmanov reunited with Diana Ringo for another project, sci-fi film titled "1984". He plays the protagonist, a brilliant mathematician who faces a harrowing choice in a dystopian society. The film is based on George Orwell's classic novel.
