- Graduated from Rose Bruford College with a BA Acting in 2011.

- Even though she plays the younger half sister of Rose Ayling-Ellis' character Frankie, Maddy is actually 4 years older than Rose.
- While appearing in Eastenders in early 2022 her character Nancy had an injured leg bandaged up due to an accident on the treadmill. This was written into the show because Maddy had actually broken her leg for real at the time.
- Is just 14 years younger than Kellie Bright and 13 years younger than Danny Dyer, who played her parents on EastEnders (1985).
