- Matt got his nickname, "Metal Matt" from Judas Priest singer, Rob Halford, himself.
- He has recorded a number of songs with singer, Tim "The Ripper" Owens for Spotify. Owens is a former singer for the Legendary Heavy Metal band, Judas Priest.
- Matt has worked with Dom Joly on Spotify and Youtube. Joly is known for Channel 4's Trigger Happy TV. Matt was also an uncredited extra on the popular tv-show, as well.
- Metal Matt also appeared on Trigger Happy as an uncredited extra. The TV series was devised by Dom Joly for All4 in the UK.
