Udbhavi Upadhyay is a London-based filmmaker from India. Through her work, she wants to throw light on the harsh realities of the world we live in and expose the complexities of the human mind and emotions.
She has been a part of Writer's Rooms for known production houses back in India and also independently written, directed and shot short films, documentaries and music videos. Some feature film projects that she has worked on, as a part of writer's room, are 'Ghamasaan', 'Baby Crasto', 'Goshta Eka Paithnichi'.
During her master's course at London Film Academy, she produced two shorts; The Poet and the Tyrant and Mind The Slip. After which, she went on to direct and co-produce a crowd-funded short film 'Therapist' which is a proof of concept for a feature film.
She is producing a Tamil language feature film to be shot in London and few more shorts. Additionally, she also developing her debut feature film script to be filmed in 2026.
