Tetyana Kirshner-Retivova was born on April 29, 1929 in Leningrad, Russian SFSR, USSR [now St. Petersburg, Russia]. She died on October 20, 2020 in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Since 1962, she has hosted music programs at the Voice of America, where she worked until 1989, having made a career of Chief of Cultural Affairs, Russian Service.
