- Neighbors confirmed that Delgado was trapped with her mother after the collapse of the structure from the 2026 Venezuelan Earthquake. Rescue teams managed to get her daughter out alive, who was injured, but is stable and the minor's father was also rescued. Sadly, both Delgado and her mother passed away.
- She and her mother, Gladys Escalona de Delgado, both perished when their residential building collapsed during the double earthquakes that affected western Venezuela on June 24, 2026. Her daughter, Miranda, was the lone member of the family to have survived the building collapse.
