Biography

Carl Wyble, known for his art direction in association with Children of Celluloid Productions and as a bespoke craftsperson through his art production company Erudire Labs, has created and directed set design and costuming experiences for the San Diego film scene. From his art production and prop management on his first feature film, Everybody Dies by the End, to his stunt coordination and practical effects design in Sincerely Saul and several upcoming releases, Carl has consistently created beautiful and effective practical effects while maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency on-set.

As a classically trained commercial and fine arts photographer and printmaker, graphic designer and carpenter with over a decade of experience in tradework, along with several years of experience working in world class machine and mechanics shops, Carl Wyble found his broad skillset particularly adaptable to the film industry beginning in 2019.

While on set as a carpenter for Everybody Dies by the End, his mechanical rescue of a catastrophically failed prop saved a full day of shooting, and soon his management of props and set design had evolved into heading a full art department in association with Children of Celluloid.

Sincerely Saul and several other forthcoming productions have since tested and grown Carl's experiences in the film industry, including working with professional stunt actors on stunt design and coordinating new practical production challenges on each project.

Carl has also appeared as an unnamed extra in multiple independent films from the San Diego area.
