I grew up in Southern California from the Inland Empire and was adopted into a Mexican-American household. I'm driven to discover all aspects of my cultural and personal identities, both explored and unexplored. I've produced, written, and directed five short films, an internet series pilot, and a feature film reflecting these experiences. As a filmmaker, I aim to intersect my "lost" identity, life joys or pains, and social justice with stories as dramas, comedies, or horror in live-action, experimental, or photographic mediums.
I started creating films in Junior High School but never took my work seriously until I entered High School. I then worked on various types of film projects including a documentary series called "Husky of the Month", a seven-episode mockumentary student series called "Tutoring", commercials, and then the release of my first 23-minute short-film "Social Media" (2019) my senior year.
