Biography

Drew Scott is an actor, producer, and director whose creative roots run deep. Trained from childhood in theater, improv, and sketch comedy, he later studied at the Actor's Foundry in Vancouver under Matthew Harrison - the same coach who has worked with Cobie Smulders and Kurt Russell. He is a lifelong martial artist, holding a 2nd-degree black belt and the title of 8 time national fighting champion - credentials that earned him a role in the theatrical action-comedy Love Hurts opposite Oscar winners Ke Huy Quan and Ariana DeBose, where producers cast him specifically for his real combat background. Earlier acting credits include Smallville, the Hallmark feature The Christmas Parade, and Breaker High - where he shared the screen with a then-unknown Ryan Gosling.

As a producer, Drew co-founded Scott Brothers Entertainment, whose Emmy-nominated programming airs across HGTV, HBO Max, TLC, Food Network, Discovery+, and OWN, reaching audiences in over 160 countries and generating more than 1,000 hours of content. His brand, Property Brothers, is one of the most widely recognized lifestyle brands globally.

Through Paper House Entertainment, his scripted division, he develops character-driven film and television, including the feature After and the animated series Builder Brothers Dream Factory, distributed by Nelvana.
