Biography

Campbell Hatton is an English professional boxer from Manchester, England. He is the son of former world champion, Ricky Hatton.

Campbell is trained by his uncle, Matthew Hatton, and is promoted by Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport. He made his professional debut on 27 March 2021 where he featured on the undercard of the Alexander Povetkin vs. Dillian Whyte rematch in Gibraltar, taking on the Spanish boxer, Jesus Ruiz, whom he defeated on points over the course of 4 rounds.

Whilst Hatton maintains an undefeated professional record so far, in his fourth fight, against Uruguayan boxer Sonny Martinez, he was awarded a controversial points victory which the majority of boxing fans, critics and pundits alike decried as a robbery. The fight took place on the undercard of Anthony Joshua vs. Oleksandr Usyk on 25 September 2021 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England. After the fight, Campbell was met with a torrent of criticism on social media for the first time in his fledgling career - an occurrence which he claimed has made him stronger and more determined going forward.
