Ranjit Singh Director, Writer, and Producer

Ranjit Singh, Regina-based Director/Producer has enjoyed a steady stream of award-winning recognition for two short films he has released this past two years. Period piece stories set in the 1950s, both were filmed in the province showcasing Saskatchewan's natural and historical appeal with performances by local Actors.

Occam's Razor, a psychological thriller received 9 international awards and 14 nominations for the international film festival circuit. His second film released in April 2022, Power in the Blood, a suspense/thriller based on a woman struggling with life and faith who consults with a young priest.

Within eight months of its release date, this short film had won 10 international awards along with another 13 nominations. The film continues to be shown in film festivals with the goal to develop feature films in the near future.

Ranjit has a passion for creating and producing compelling stories like Power in the Blood that is visually exciting and emotionally connect with the audience.
