Hal August was born on August 23, 1890 in Oakland, California, USA. He was an actor, known for Into the Lion's Pit (1914), The Taint of an Alien (1914) and The Romance of an Actor (1914). He died on September 21, 1918 in Great Lakes, Illinois, USA.

Died of pneumonia aged 28.

First worked as a chauffeur, following in his father's footsteps who was driver for various oil companies.

Was arrested for playing pool in a billiard hall while under age in 1909.
