Biography

Ivan Anthony (pronounced ee-vAHn) is a Los Angeles-based actor born in California in 2012. He developed an early love for storytelling through poetry and theater, inspired by his grandmother, a philologist and devoted theater enthusiast who often involved him in her theatrical projects.

Ivan booked his first professional role at nine, working alongside Alex Sparrow in a project yet to be announced. Soon after, he appeared in the feature film Nomad, portraying the younger version of the protagonist (played by Leo Woodall) in the ambitious film directed by Taron Lexton, shot across all seven continents.

In 2023, Ivan appeared in an episodic role on 9-1-1: Lone Star and portrayed Rapper Boy in Christmas Angel, directed by LazRael Lison. He also joined the Star Wars universe with a recurring voice role as Jax (SP-32) in the final season of Star Wars: The Bad Batch.

In 2024, Ivan filmed the feature American Solitaire, directed by Aaron Davidman, portraying the young version of the protagonist, Slinger. He was also cast as young Andrew Gurney in the short film Redlining, directed by Jason Stuart. In voiceover, Ivan recently made his international dubbing debut voicing Revo and additional characters in the English dub of the Italian film The Children's Train, which premiered on Netflix.

Ivan is known among collaborators as a joy to work with. Directors often note his professionalism, focus, and ability to take direction easily and thoughtfully, allowing the creative process to run smoothly. His positive energy and genuine enthusiasm on set make him someone people enjoy working with both on and off camera.

Outside of acting, Ivan continues to train in the performing arts. He competes in Latin ballroom dance with his sister throughout Southern California and trained intensively in Vaganova Method of ballet. He also plays piano and saxophone and recently added boxing to his training, further developing his physicality as a performer.

Naturally curious, Ivan enjoys reading, writing, learning new jokes, going to the gym, and spending as much time outdoors as possible, especially playing soccer. He also has a growing fascination with biology and the human body, and loves learning how things work.
