Stephanie Szostak
- Actress
French-American Stephanie Szostak (show-stack) grew up in France and came to the United States to study business and play Division I golf at the College of William & Mary.
After a few years at Chanel in New York, she drifted into modeling before taking her first acting class at 29 with Sondra Lee in New York City. For the first time, she realized she was passionate about something. Shortly after, she booked a role opposite Meryl Streep in The Devil Wears Prada. Her most notable work includes the ABC series A Million Little Things, Iron Man 3, and Dinner for Schmucks.
As her career grew, so did a quieter battle with Impostor Syndrome, one that eventually pushed her to develop what she calls her Playbook. That practice became the foundation of her book SELF!SH, which guides readers in building their own personal playbook for life. Half of all proceeds go to Give an Hour, a mental health organization she serves as an ambassador.
Stephanie also speaks on failure, authenticity, and what she calls the Actor's Way: the mindset tools that helped her navigate the ups and downs of her career (and life), and can help anyone navigate uncertainty, rejection, and outcomes that are never fully in their control.
