Karla Stinger

Karla is a visual artist, educator, and art director whose work explores storytelling through objects, environments, and visual history. She holds an MFA and teaches art, bringing extensive knowledge of composition, material culture, and formal analysis to her film work.

Her art direction encompasses scenic design, scenic fabrication, scenic art, set dressing, prop sourcing, and graphic design. Combining detailed research with imaginative world-building, Karla uses scenery, objects, and images to reveal character, legacy, and atmosphere.
