- Chad Hodge is an American film and television writer, producer, and showrunner. Hodge is the executive producer and co-showrunner of Amazon Prime's forthcoming Tomb Raider series, alongside creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge (2027). He is also the writer of A24's Famous (2027), starring Zac Efron and directed by Jody Hill, based on the novel by Blake Crouch.
Hodge created hit drama series Wayward Pines (2015-2016) and Good Behavior (2016-2017, WGA Award Nomination), both also based on novels by Blake Crouch. Previously, Hodge created drama series The Playboy Club (2011) and Runaway (2006). He wrote Netflix's hit film Single All The Way (2021), which won the GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Movie. He also wrote the blockbuster movie The Darkest Minds (2018) for 20th Century Fox, starring Amandla Stenberg, based on the New York Times Bestseller by Alexandra Bracken. For the stage, Hodge co-wrote the Broadway musical adaptation of Irving Berlin's classic Holiday Inn (2016), which premiered at the Roundabout Theater at Studio 54.
