- Ants Tael died on July 23, 2025 in Tallinn, Estonia.
- Coached folk dance groups in Tallinn in the 1950s and 1960s.
- Was the instigator of Tallinn, the Youth and Estonian Championships, the Sakala, Rapla and Tallinn dance tournaments.
- In 1959 he won the first Baltic tournament individual event in Ziemelplasma.
- In 2010 he was awarded with Order of the White Star, IV class.
- Started work at the Taela Dance School on 28 November 1991.
