Streaming Stars, Then and Now

After an established 25-year career on screen, Gregg Chilingirian stepped away from acting in 2022 to focus on writing and filmmaking. He wrote and directed his debut short film, George, which garnered international acclaim and won multiple awards, including Best British Short Film. His second short film, Virtue, shot on 16mm, premiered in New York in 2024.

Offered a place at RADA at age 18 but turned it down to do 3 plays at the National Theatre.

Born in Cambridge to parents of English and Armenian descent.

Made his stage debut playing Mark in the world premier of Dennis Kellys DNA at the National Theatre in 2005.

Stepped away from acting in 2022 to focus solely on writing and directing.

Shot his debut and follow-up films on Super 8 and 35mm respectively.
