Akio Fukushima(III)
- Cinematographer
- Director
- Writer
After completing a sociology course at university, Akio moved to Tokyo and began working in a photographic studio, where he learned to "speak" through images and gradually developed his own visual language.
Seeking new perspectives, he moved to London, expanding his practice beyond experimental fashion photography into moving images. He has collaborated with directors, fashion labels, musicians, and brands to craft immersive visual worlds, while also developing his own narrative film projects.
Akio's work is shaped by three key environments: Kyoto, rich in tradition; Tokyo, a hub of cutting-edge commercial creativity; and London, a global center for experimental art. Using these experiences as his creative palette, he explores the interplay between inner emotional landscapes and external visual worlds, bringing a cinematic sensibility to every project.
