Biography

Toluwalase Ojo is a Nigerian-born stage and screen actor, musician, and former American football athlete. He made his screen debut in In or Out (2022), followed by a leading role in Chinatown Cowboy, which won Outstanding Achievement Western Short at Indie Short Fest LA (2024). Bilingual in English and Yoruba, he plays harmonica and traditional African talking drum. Before transitioning to the arts, he worked for four years as a homecare aide technician, caring for individuals with disabilities. Toluwalase is trained in Advanced Acting at the New Federal Theatre and Improv Theater at The Peoples Improv Theater. He is also the founder of The Brighter Future Foundation, an initiative supporting school drives and homeless shelters in Baltimore.
