Joel Codina, originally from Barcelona and currently based in Copenhagen, is a young director and producer who is also beginning to make a name for himself as a visual effects supervisor in feature films and shortfilms.
After studying animation and working as a concept artist at well known studios such as 23Lunes Creative Animation Studio and Ghost VFX,where he contributed to high-profile projects like Star Wars: The Mandalorian, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Fast & Furious X, and more, Joel has expanded his career into directing and producing.
Most recently, he produced and directed his new project Game Night, which consolidates his creative vision and demonstrates his ability to lead international teams in complex productions. In addition to his work in visual effects for film and television, Joel is focusing on supervising VFX on larger-scale productions, further expanding his influence in the audiovisual industry.
His career blends a strong artistic foundation with storytelling skills, positioning him as an emerging figure in directing and creative supervision within the world of film and visual effects.
