Rachel Jakes is known for Beat the Clock (1950). She has been married to John Jakes since July 1951. They have four children.

She is a wife of the famous writer John Jakes, author of the bestselling novels ("North & South" trilogy, "The Kent's Chronicles" series etc.).

When they appeared on the 1950s game show "Beat The Clock", Rachel Jakes and her husband John won the Jackpot prize, a Sylvania television set.
