Misha Maseka is a Zambian-Canadian award-winning writer, director and producer. Starting her career in opera and theatre led her to perform across Canada, the US and Germany which heavily influences her use of sound and spectacle in her ultimate study of the mundane, intimacy, heritage and history in her films. Founding her production company, Village Girls, expanded the work to immersive technologies across sound, stage and screen, focussing on stories out of central Africa.
