Biography

Yoko Chen, graduated from American Film Institute as a producing fellow, works as an in-house producer in a Mini Series platform Good Short. Yoko's films focus on exploring the social issues and interpersonal behavior of young adults. She has a sensitive intuition for capturing the psychological struggle of the adults of today. Throughout the past five years, she has produced a great number of short film projects in different genres, including ONCE WE WERE which was recognized as a Finalist for the New York International Film Award; ESCARGOT, which won Best Student Film for New York International Film Award. The producing experience offers her a different scope to focus on the details of production qualities with her compassionate film language. The ECLIPSE, which was a short film written, directed, and produced by Yoko, was nominated for Best Producer and Best Director at the Chain NYC Film Festival.
