- Amit Russell Gicelter is an Academy Award®-nominated producer, founder and CEO of The Hive Studio, and an accomplished producer and content creator.
Since its founding in 2010, The Hive Studio has grown into a leading animation hub, employing over 40 animators across the Mediterranean region.
With more than 20 years of industry experience, Amit has produced multiple award-winning short films, including the Oscar®-nominated Letter to a Pig and the shortlisted Black Slide.
His work also spans television series for major global broadcasters and high-end commercial content, utilizing a wide range of animation and live-action techniques.
Amit has led numerous international co-productions, including pioneering collaborations with partners across Europe, North America, and the UAE.
In addition to his production work, he is an active advocate for the animation industry. He is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, ASIFA-Hollywood, ASIFA Hellas, and the local animation union, among others.
