Walter Egan was born on July 12, 1948 in Jamaica, New York, USA. He is an actor and composer, known for Boogie Nights (1997), Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo (1999) and This Is 40 (2012).

"Magnet and Steel" - his hit single - features both him and Lindsay Buckingham on guitar, Mick Fleetwood on drums, and Lindsay, Annie McLoone, and Stevie Nicks doing background vocals. The 'chimes' heard during choruses is actually a SchoenHut toy piano.
