Biography

Krista Amigone is a writer, actress, filmmaker, and mom originally from Buffalo, NY. She danced and choreographed professionally in New York City before graduating from the William Esper Studio's two-year Meisner Program. Krista originated many stage roles with The Collective NYC and won a best actress nomination for her work in Leftbank Bookseller in The Network NYC's One Act play Festival. She also won a Best Actress award at the Hunter College Film Festival for her comedic performance in Logan's Power. Now in Los Angeles, Krista makes films as well as acts in them. Her script The Dancer was chosen by Apple for their first Short Film Challenge, and is now available on YouTube, and her short Julian Got the Part was nominated for Best Short Film at the Orlando International Film Festival. Recent career highlights include her short script The Instinct being one of six winners in the Women In Media CAMERAderie competition, her farcical series She's So Right!, which she wrote and directed, and the Twilight Zone inspired short film, LUCK. She is also the season one writer of sci-fi episodic Nightwatch. You can watch her most recent acting performance in David Beatty's The Wasteland's The Silence of Memory on You Tube, for which she received a Best Actress nomination in the We make Movies International Film Festival.
