Ravi Ranjan was born in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.Ravi is know for Gujarati films like Raado, Hun Iqbal, Danny Jigar, Samandar, Kaali kidiyona duha chhand ,Fakta Purushon Maate,Dharpakad,Kaali chaudas and the Hindi film Kakuda. Hello is also featuring in upcoming international project Our share of sand.
He holds a graduate degree in Psychology from dujarat University and a postgraduate degree in Development communication.
He is known for his work in Gujarati and Hindi theatre, films, voice-over, and dubbing. His interest in acting began during his school days. At the age of 17, he joined theatre and has performed in over 1500 street plays.
He was also known as "Bicycle Boy" for running a free library on his bicycle.He used to donate whatever items he received through the Bicycle Library to charity.
Beyond acting, he is a poet, traveler, aesthete, and cyclist.he moved to Mumbai with his family.
