Nicky Lowney is a New England-based actor known for her grounded, often comedic portrayals of characters who are smart, flawed, and deeply relatable. She's played everything from the well-meaning boss in national commercials to the spooky neighbor in the independent thriller Trinitas, which premiered at the Chinese Theatre in Hollywood and is now available on Amazon Prime Video.
With experience in both comedy and drama, Nicky brings emotional nuance, sharp timing, and a collaborative spirit to every role. She starred in her first feature film lead role in an upcoming suspense drama, "The Trail Ends Here," by Garage Fire Films, and frequently works on independent short films and commercials.
In addition to acting, Nicky is an award-winning screenwriter and playwright. Her dark comedy script Overstay was featured in the WIFVNE Table Reading Series, and her full-length play My (Virtually) Perfect Roommate was produced regionally and published by Next Stage Press.
