Raquel Appiah is an actress who made a striking debut in a one-woman play, Ellipsis, at the Chelsea Theatre (2024). Since then she is set to star in feature film The Runner (2026) and has just been cast in an 8 part drama series.
Her previous work includes standout roles in the short film Loyalty or Lies, a BAFTA qualifying selection for the British Urban Film Festival, and Chidinma, as well as compelling supporting roles in feature films such as The Wait and Blackmail. On stage, Raquel has showcased her talent in lead and supporting roles in Off West-End productions such as Family Secrets, Another Biafra, and a Hampstead Garden Suburb Theatre adaptation of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream.
In the commercial sphere, she has collaborated with prominent brands including Wagamama Cadbury, Primark, Disney, Haliborange, Cadent, Wise, Barclays and Gov UK.
