Biography

Christian Matzke lives and works in Portland, Maine. He was finishing a degree in Political Science when he completed his first film, Nyarlathotep (2001). As a long time fan of both films and H.P. Lovecraft it seemed natural to attempt to combine the two. Christian worked on a Lovecraftian short film by Aaron Vanek before trying his hand at it. His second film, also a Lovecraft adaptation, came out in the Fall of 2003. An original production called White Rhino is in production now.

In 1994 Christian began creating his own language. Known as Argosian, it will be the main language used in the upcoming short film White Rhino (2003).
