Biography

Kristina's diverse background in the Arts spans several years, acting on stage and in films, commercials, and industrials, and has also performed in a wide array of original plays and readings all over the tri-state area, by both notable and up-and-coming playwrights. For many years she's honed her craft under the esteemed award-winning theatre company, The Barrow Group, under the tutelage of co-Artistic Directors Seth Barrish and Lee Brock.

Her 'sweet spot' as an actress is portraying characters who are 'quietly controlling, protective, and grounded, yet with a disarming wit', which has earned her critical acclaim in the independent films: Caught in the Act, Absence of Mind, and Compassionate Release, all of which won the Audience Choice awards! And notably, her role as the Warden in Compassionate Release opposite award-winning Broadway performer Stephanie Pope garnered many accolades, including Best Short Film at the 2020 Chelsea Film Festival.

As a singer, she's performed at some of NYC's most iconic music venues, including The Bitter End, Mercury Lounge, The Shrine, Silvana's, Tammany Hall, Gizzi's, Kenny's Castaways, The Red Lion, Rockwood Music Hall, The Triad, Café Wha?, Don't Tell Mama, Sidewalk Cafe, and The Delancey-the list goes on! Her musical pursuits range from solo acts to indie music, rock bands, and cover bands, even a Latin band, highlighting her deep passion for music.

For over 15 years she's specialized in editing demo reels for actors/performers through her company, Latour de Force Productions. With a roster spanning across the U.S., Europe, and the Netherlands, her clients have gone on to work in feature films, star in television series, perform on Broadway, and even garner a Tony nomination! She's also written several ASK THE EXPERT articles for BACKSTAGE and was recently featured in both AARP and LA Voyage. NYC Casting Director Jamibeth Margolis calls her "Queen of the Reels"!

When not acting, singing, or editing, you can find her strength training at the local gym, and, walking all over New York City--sometimes up to 10 miles a day!
