Linda Hunter trained as an actress in New York with Lee Brock and Seth Barrish at the Barrow Group School. Additionally, she studied at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Stella Adler Conservatory of Acting and at the HB Studio. She has since lived in London, Los Angeles and Sweden.
After having discovered a passion for writing comedy she has produced numerous short films that have been successful at film festivals winning awards in a variety of categories. Her most recent project, The Stroll, won best script and best actress at the prestigious Jane Austen International Film Festival.
A lover of wit and absurdity Linda often tackles subjects that are currently keeping her awake at night.
In the autumn of 2025 the film Flora will be completed. Flora is a comedy (ca 45 min) about why on earth we become artists. The short film Magnetism was shot in July 2025 and is currently in post production and will be finished in 2026. Also a comedy, Magnetism deals with political polarization and aims to bring some hope and comfort. At the end of the day it seems we can not ignore the good qualities in each other no matter how hard we try. Both films were written by Linda.
