Biography

He has appeared on various television shows including Empire on Fox, The Chi, Say My Name, Proven Innocent, & Batwoman, as background talent. However, Darryl decided to add another skill to his growing list of talents when he chose to start taking the acting more seriously. He now plays a starring role as the character Khris in a new web series called Opposites, which has a season 2 on the way.

Darryl DeShawn Styling began after Darryl designed an entire clothing line using used fabrics from his Grandmother's bin for his cousin's barbie dolls so that she wouldn't have to keep buying new barbies. He even went as far as to give them all unique styles in hair and doing their makeup. Wasn't long before his family knew that this was going to be very destined.

He's worked as a stylist with a few clients on music videos, interviews, television shows, and photo-shoots. All the hard work started paying off and turned into reward after Darryl got the opportunity to put his talents to work with showcasing his skills on set with 4 Star Casting. He was able to go from background actor to a featured role. For many years, Darryl DeShawn was known for his illustrations and styling , but all the while he was dreaming of becoming a model.
