Her artistic journey continued as she ventured into higher education at Boston College, where she earned a BA in Theater. During her senior year, Hadley's performance in "Noises Off" as Brooke/Vicki earned her a nomination for the prestigious Irene Ryan Acting Award, a national recognition honoring exceptional collegiate acting. Post-graduation, Hadley continued her acting training at the Terry Knickerbocker Studio where she honed her craft in the Meisner Technique.
Today, Hadley resides in Los Angeles, where she's engaged in several exciting projects. Most recently, her short film, Nude, a film based on her experience with digital sexual violence, which she wrote, produced, and starred in was released. Other recent credits include Autumn in "Thinestra", Natalie in "Sunfish and Other Stories on Green Lake", Tara in "Brooding", and Mary in the world premiere of the 2 person play, "Get It Together". In a review, Martin Hernandez wrote, "One doesn't see this level of acting often. It is superior and mesmerizing. Despite her waiflike demeanor, Durkee's Mary can turn from light to dark, humor to anger in an instant."
