Biography

Raul Dillo is known for Code Name: Bomba (1998), The Fighting Chefs (2013) and Spirit Warriors (2000).

At 7 ft 3 in, he usually plays giant or "kapre" in films. In Philippine mythology, the kapre is a creature that may be described as a tree giant or ape like, being a tall (7–9 ft), dark-colored, hairy, and muscular scary creature.

Before entering showbiz, he was a basketball player, playing with the former Metropolitan Basketball Association (MBA) (1998 to 2002). He was then the tallest basketball player at 7 ft 3 in.

In college, he played with the University of the East team before moving to the professional league Metropolitan Basketball Association, playing with San Juan Knights. His basketball career was ended with a knee injury.

After the Covid-19 pandemic, he was selling longganisa, a Filipino sausage, on the busy streets of Imus. Internet posts on him became viral, reaching the attention of the local government. The government's Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).assisted him with a meat processing package to provide his own homemade longganisa.

After his showbiz career ended, he tried his hand at cooking and selling "lugaw" (porridge) and pancit, which were well-received by the community. However, the physical demands of running a food business began to take a toll on his health. During the pandemic. he was hospitalized due to fatigue.
