Biography

Alex Berka (born Timothy Alexander Berka) is an actor, screenwriter, model, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and composer from Saginaw, Michigan. He initially got into acting in high school, participating in theatre, TV/Film classes, and the local 72-hour film challenge. He graduated from the University of Michigan in 2018 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and minors in Music and Business. During this time, he also spent three summers working nights as a ride mechanic at the Cedar Point amusement park in Sandusky, Ohio.

After graduation, Alex relocated to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue music, creating rock recording project Showpiece in 2019. After linking up with a modeling agency in 2020, he positioned himself to return to acting, joining an acting studio and participating in projects across Tennessee and Kentucky. In 2022, he made his directorial debut with the short film Right Where You Left Me.
