Biography

Tommy Bredsted was born on February 3, 1975 in Næstved, Denmark. He is a writer and actor, known for Slim Slam Slum (2002), The Legacy (2014) and Max Embarrassing (2008).

Lead singer in Danish hip hop band "Hvid Sjokolade" since 1993.

Is in business with Mesta Lasse and Dj Nage from the famous Danish hip hop band "Hvid Sjokolade". These three rappers have their own records company named "Vognmandsfirmaet Menneskelyd".

Cut his trademark dreadlocks in late 2000.

Released his fourth album, "Mon ik'--"

I think we came up with the name in the late '98, where the greatest amount of the entire rap records where created, by big muscular black peoples, who made some tracks named: "Brown Like Chocolate" and "Tasty Chocolate", that's how I remember it. So we a kind of looked at ourselves, and thought, that the only way to become great hip-hop'ers, whore having such an original and different band name. That's how it all turned out, to make us become Hvid Sjokolade.

If Danish rap poetry is that supercilious, it hopefully also finds a way to the gymnasiums.

It worked out, in a very bad way, the first few times. All of our tracks were only about, how great and cool we wore - in fact, we wore nothing at all.

We are just doing what we're a doing, because we think of that as being cool, and we'll stick to that.
