Dietrich Monstadt
Graduation from high school and subsequent basic military service; 1979 law studies; interruption in 1982 for the management of the parental agricultural business. 1984 Continuation of studies, graduation with first and second state exams.
1986 joined the law firm Klostermann & Schmidt; 1991 founded the supra-local law firm Klostermann Schmidt, Monstadt in Schwerin; since 1994 attorney and senior partner in the law firm Klostermann, Dr. Schmidt, Monstadt, Dr. Eisbrecher in Schwerin and Rostock.
Member of the CDU since 1996; member of the Schwerin CDU district executive committee since 1998; treasurer of the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania CDU state association since 2011; involved in the MIT (Mittelstands- und Wirtschaftsvereinigung der CDU) since 1994 and state chairman there in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania since 2009.
Since 2009, member of the German Bundestag; since 2013, member of the Parliamentary Group of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses (PKM).
