Sara Oliva is a dynamic, award-winning stage, film, and TV actress, known for her raw emotional depth and playing gutsy, bold women with tenderness, bite, and (sometimes vulgar) wit. "Lioness," which she acted in, wrote, and produced, has screened at over 60 festivals worldwide, including Oscar- and BAFTA- qualifying festivals. For her performance, she won Best Actress from the Georgia Shorts Film Festival. She was nominated for Best Actress by the SOHO International Film Festival and the First Glance Film Festival Philadelphia. She won the Powerful Voice Award and Best Cinematic Writing from the Blackbird Film Festival. Onstage, she has performed in New York, Chicago, Miami, and Boston, and her performances have been noted in Film Threat, UK Film Review, The Chicago Tribune, The Miami Herald, The Tampa Bay Times, The Orlando Sentinel, and several others.
