Biography

Born in Greeneville, TN to parents Doug and Dianna Deaderick in 1985, Beth grew up immersed in a world of music and creativity. Her family moved to Lexington, SC when she was five. The family home was nestled in a swampy, woodland setting, where she spent much of her time hiking barefoot and feeding a love and respect for animals and nature. When not outside, she could often be found writing fantasy stories, drawing, sewing, or working on small-scale crafts. At eighteen-years-old she met Nathan Laws, whom she later married in 2006. They have two daughters.

Present-day Beth continues to love crating and sewing and even cosplays when at anime or Doctor Who cons, winning several awards in masquerade competitions. She is always looking for new creative outlets to expand her horizons. She plays Minecraft, is fascinated by historical dress, and dabbles in Japanese language and American Sign Language.

Beth can also be found as a guest on her husband's podcast, The 42cast, usually sewing something at the same time.
