Biography

Love Mba is an award-winning actress, presenter, producer, and model. Her first starring role was in the Nollywood hit movie Ghetto Hunters. Since then, she has become known for her ability to thoroughly embody characters and continues to receive critical acclaim for her portrayal of iconic roles.

She has featured in Nollywood movies like Closer, Caught In Between, Africa Magic Hustle and His Mother's Son, The Altruist, Witch War, WAP TV Donaldo, Iroko TV Sunshine, The Jimi Bendel Show, By All Means, MTV's edutainment series Shuga 4, AMC Pamper Me With Love, TVC Crack In The Wall, Mystified and short films like Termite In My Castle, and The Red Light. She has also featured in commercials like Confam Bitters, Landlagos, and flat tummy tea moringa.

The youngest of six children, on May 9th 1995, Love was born into the family of Mr and Mrs Benjamin Ngozi Mba, an Accountant father and a Chef mother in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Her first encounter with acting was at the age of 7, when she joined the drama club at her primary school, Slawson International School, Nigeria where she started acting on stage. She started acting in local television dramas and movies at the age of 20 and graduated from Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University in Anambra, Nigeria with a BS.C Honours in Accounting. In 2018, she got recognition from Nigerian Teen Choice Awards as Media Personality of the year and Maya Awards Africa for Break Out Act.

At 25, she decided to relocate to the United Kingdom for her Master's in Producing for Film and Television from Teesside University where she graduated with a merit in September 2021. Ever since relocating to London, UK, she has featured in short films like 51 and Counting and Birthday Gift. She has hosted Immigration and Nationality Services (IANS) Skilled worker hybrid event 2021, IANS Open Day recruitment 2022, in London, an event whereby employers meet skilled employees from around the world to grow the UK labour force, she also hosted Destalker Live in Leicester 2022 and African Diaspora Festival 2022 in Milton Keynes, an event that unifies different cross-cultural backgrounds.She participated in Face of London Runway 2022 and made it to the semi-finals, an event that promotes diversity and inclusion. She also featured in an Advert for Kopparberg Alcoholic Drink produced by Pocketcreatives and Curry's Christmas Advert produced by IsiteTV in the UK.
