Biography

Princess of Monaco was born on February 10, 1858 in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. She was married to Prince Albert Ier de Monaco and Marie Odet Armand Aimable Chapelle de Jumilhac. She died on December 23, 1925 in Paris, France.

Her son with her first husband, Armand Chapelle, was born on 21 December 1875 in Paris and died 30 June 1952 in New York City, unmarried and without issue, making him the eighth and last person to hold the titles Duke of Richelieu and of Fronsac and Marquis of Jumilhac.

Separated judicially on May 30, 1902 (Monaco) and June 3, 1902 (France) from Prince Albert. However, she retained the title Princess of Monaco until 26 June 1922, upon Albert's death.
