Shayon hails from Kolkata, his work life in the film Industry started with Hoichoi Series Holy Faak where he assisted Debaloy Bhattacharya.He went onto assist him in Dupur Thakurpo. After Working for Tvwala Media in Kolkata and being the part of Productions like Dupur Thakurpo, Eken Babu, Six (6), Hello, Water Bottle, Mirchi Music Awards, Water Bottle and Krishanu Krishanu. He left to Become a freelance Professional Executive Producer. His first work was MX Player's Nakaab Starring Mallika Sherawat and Esha Gupta.
