Biography

  • Pino began acting in school plays at the age of 8. As a teenager in the Canary Islands, Spain, while not fashion modeling, he performed in commercials and several short dramatic films. As a result, Pino won numerous awards, earning scholarships to study producing and acting at the Centro de Studios Visuales (CEV) in Madrid (1989) and University of California in Los Angeles (1993-96).

    His first job in the United States was as a soccer commentator for Fox Sports, Liberty Sports and Prime Sports. Consequently, he produced Football From Europe (1993) and Duper Domingo Futbolistico (1995) for four years. His acting career is highlighted by roles in Blow (2001) and numerous national commercials. In 1996 he produced his first independent feature, Julie's Poem.

    Pino has established himself as one of the most sought after Spanish voice-over talents with representation at ICM. His voice can be heard driving the Spanish trailers for Wild Hogs, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Gangs of New York, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Askaban, Batman Begins, Troy, Constantine, Spanglish, and many more. He regularly dubs major American actors into Castillian Spanish, such as: John Travolta, Billy Bob Thorton, Robert DeNiro, Danny Trejos, etc.

    Currently, he travels between Europe and Los Angeles producing and acting in several projects on both sides of the Atlantic.
