- Emmy-nominated Canadian filmmaker Jill Sharpe writes, directs and produces narrative and non-fiction films. Her work has screened at international film festivals and art galleries, been broadcast in more than 20 countries and received multiple awards.
Sharpe’s practice as a painter and media artist informs her visual approach to filmmaking. She has worked on productions across Canada and the United States, as well as in Mexico and New Zealand.
