Belgrade raised and New York City based, Tatjana is a ICG Local 600
cinematographer and Head of the Cinematography Department at NYU Tisch
School of the Arts, Graduate Studies.
Tatjana's artistic journey began with Drawing and Painting transitioning to Photography and Motion Pictures. She explored various art forms, Graphic Design, Music and Acting. She is also a Berlinale Talent Campus alumna. In 2014 she co-founded International Pancevo Film Festival and acted as its Artistic Director.
She has worked internationally on projects across Europe, Asia, and the United States. Her work includes feature films, documentary films, tv series, short films, stop motion, commercials, and music videos.
In 2023, she received the Haskell Wexler Best Cinematography Award for the feature film "Asleep In My Palm" at the Woodstock Film Festival. In 2012, she received the Vilko Filac Award for Best Cinematography for the film "Made of Ashes" at the Kustendorf Film Festival.
Her feature film "The Load" premiered at 71. Cannes Film Festival (Directors Fortnight) in 2018, has won 25 awards internationally. Documentary feature "Depth-Two" premiered at Berlinale Film Festival in 2016, has won 19 awards internationally and counting.
