Eleanor Shannon is a Director, Writer, and Performer with over seven years of experience across the film, theatre, audio, and gaming industries.
A graduate of Drama Studio London (2019) and the Guildford School of Acting (2016), she has worked extensively both on stage and in front of and behind the camera.
Her directing credits include Eterne (NI Screen’s New Writers Focus Scheme), An Ríomh (2024, nominated at the BAFTA-qualifying CBFF), Federation Of Drama Schools Irish Showcase (2025) and The Path Less Travelled (2023).
In 2025, Eleanor was selected for NI Screen’s Emerging Director Scheme, shadowing BAFTA and RTS award-winning director Jon East.
As Managing Director of the emerging company Wild Ember Productions, Eleanor is dedicated to creating innovative, emotionally resonant work that challenges perspectives and connects audiences across stage and screen.
