- Lewis McAskie is an accomplished actor based in Belfast, Northern Ireland and Bristol, England, UK. He developed a love of performing and acting from a young age, participating in various stage productions at Belvoir Players Academy and at Campbell College Belfast. These included playing the lead roles as Bugsy in 'Bugsy Malone', Eddie Carbone in 'A View from the Bridge' and Seymour in 'The Little Shop of Horrors'. He has also enjoyed co-writing and co-directing smaller productions.
Lewis successfully auditioned for a number of film and TV roles, playing Will in Sir Kenneth Branagh's 'Belfast', Tadgh in Stacey Gregg's 'Here Before' and Young Mossy in Oorlagh George’s Stranger with a Camera' ('The Sniper's Daughter').
He has also acted in a high-profile commercial shot in Central Europe.
Lewis has worked diligently with a vocal coach to perfect American, English and southern Irish accents.
Having completed secondary education, gaining his A-Level qualifications and Grade 8 in Musical Theatre from the London College of Music, Lewis is studying a BA Hons degree in Acting for TV, Film and New Media at Bristol School of Acting.
