JK Jones

JK Jones' writing career that dates back to 1992. For 26 years, he worked at a newspaper, The Biloxi-Sun Herald and was part of a Pulitzer prize winning publication in 2006 for coverage of Hurricane Katrina. He currently works as News Editor of The Selma Times-Journal. In 2009, Jones began writing books and had a successful 10-year run under a pen name. Jones decided to pursue a screenwriting career in 2015. He's written four feature screenplays: False Start, Getting the Boot, Legal Passion and Passed Over. Jones' entire education career took place in his hometown of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He graduated from Cottondale Elementary School (1982), Holt High School (1988) and received a Journalism Degree at Stillman College in 1992. Jones was born on October 18, 1969 in Tuscaloosa. He lives in Selma, Alabama, has a daughter and granddaughter.
